“It’s taken 9 years to finally put pen to paper and take the first step in making this real and helping others at that sad time.“

When we were gathering up the paperwork from our mum we realised we had no idea of who her gas/electricity company were, her bank accounts, car rego and insurances for her, the car, the house and we didn’t even know if she had funeral insurance or a will. Even though she had said that she did have Funeral insurance, we didn’t know where to start looking for any paperwork. Not to mention her friends, as we 3 didn’t live in the same town as mum, we really had no idea who all her friends were, of course we knew most but when it was time to do the ring around to let her friends know of her passing we missed a few people then felt guilty that we should have known somehow.

It wasn’t until we were going through paperwork that we eventually found the answers to our questions, but it took a long time and we found that her paperwork was all over the place. Not only did that cause a lot of frustration but a lot of headaches as well.

With One Last Request the idea is to have all those important papers in one place where the loved ones left can find them easily and start the finalisation process. Which leaves them to grieve without the stress of trying to deal with the issues that have been left.

They can be updated whenever the owner sees fit and new paperwork, photo’s, mementos or anything can be added at anytime.

There is nothing worse than having a loved one pass away, your mind and emotions are all over the place and the world doesn’t stop so between trying to arrange their funeral and grieving you have to finalise the bills, close bank accounts or even clean a house out and so forth…where do you start, right here is where you start.
